The Story behind Volcán
Pacaya Volcano, Guatemala
Once upon a time, she stood at the edge of a volcano’s crater.
The ground beneath her feet was steaming – black, breathing soil. A cold wind ran through her hair.
And deep below, she could feel something ancient… a heartbeat, an unseen glow.
The pulse of Mother Earth.
There was a moment – silent, yet electric – when she felt something sacred. A whisper within vapors and dust, as if the mountain had revealed her purpose.
From that day on, something inside her shifted.
It has just awakened — Volcán is its voice.

[Intro]
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán
[Verse]
Try to destroy me
Try to steal my glow
You gonna get burned
Black stone fertile
Once liquid gold
Mi regalo from the core
[Pre-Chorus]
They bring me flowers
(Divine sacrifice)
They bring me sirup
(You bring me napalm juice)
[Chorus]
Eyes bright on fire
(Despierta en la noche)
Rise high in desire
(Brillando en la noche)
Eyes to the sky
(Despierta en la noche)
Light’s deep inside
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Soy como el volcán de Pacaya
Volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán
[Verse]
Don't’ try to break me
Mi tierra will grow
My power is hope
Back to heaven
I see all the clouds
Every one got it’s own
[Pre-Chorus]
They bring me flowers
(Divine sacrifice)
They bring me sirup
(You bring me napalm juice)
[Chorus]
Eyes bright on fire
(Despierta en la noche)
Rise high in desire
(Brillando en la noche)
Eyes to the sky
(Despierta en la noche)
Light’s deep inside
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Soy como el volcán de Pacaya
Volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán
[Bridge]
Stop to destroy me
You gonna get burned
Stop to destroy me
You gonna get burned
[Chorus]
Eyes bright on fire
(Despierta en la noche)
Rise high in desire
(Brillando en la noche)
Light’s deep inside
(Despierta en la noche)
Eyes to the sky
(Brillando en la noche)
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán de Pacaya
Soy como el volcán de Pacaya
Volcán de Pacaya
Como el volcán

The SOYALA Sound
SOYALA creates music where cinematic pop meets mystic energy, electronic depth, and ethno-inspired emotion. Singing in both English and Spanish, her songs blend powerful imagery with poetic storytelling – rooted in nature, transformation, and the feminine voice.
Her debut single Volcán sets the tone: monumental, raw, and emotionally charged, it draws inspiration from the Guatemalan volcano Pacaya, exploring the strength, vulnerability, and spirit of womanhood. With a sound that fuses organic textures, electronic layers, and soul-driven vocals, SOYALA invites her audience into a sonic world that is both intimate and expansive.
Based in Germany and shaped by multicultural influences, she writes and performs music that crosses borders – musically and emotionally.
